This course is intended to be an introduction to crimping with applicators. It covers everything from "what is an crimp applicator" to the fine adjustments and troubleshooting of your finished leads (finished crimped terminals on wire). We use the Mecal crimp applicator for the basis of this course. There are many other manufacturers of crimping applicators, however the fundamental ideas and insights can be used universally on any applicator. Also it is the opinion of the author that the Mecal applicator is the most dependable and high quality applicator on the market, so why not use the best product to train with.
