The Basics of Crimping with Applicators 101 is intended to be an introduction to Crimp Applicator Training for Wire Harness Manufacturing. It covers everything from "what is an crimp applicator" to the fine adjustments and troubleshooting of your finished Crimped Cables and Wire Harnesses . We use the Mecal Crimp Applicator for the basis of this course. There are many other manufacturers of Crimping Applicators, however the fundamental ideas and insights can be used universally on any applicator.
